Jessica’s baby shower

I was so excited when I received Jessica’s pictures of her baby shower. Looking at these pictures, I know that this was a true celebration of a new life.   

I asked Jessica to give me a hint on what to get a mommy-to-be, as I usually have no idea what to buy. The last time I had to buy something for a baby shower, I ended up spending an hour in Baby City, walking around staring at all these baby products. It is really, really scary for someone that have no kids.

This is what she said:

My husband is a pharmacist and it happens so often that he gets called-out to homes where the mom is so overwhelmed by a crying baby, that they have no idea what to give their baby when something is bugging them. I love giving a ‘medical box’ filled with medicine and other remedies as a baby shower gift.

Jessica and her husband Jaco, welcomed little baby Mieke. Isn’t she just gorgeous?

 Thanks Jessica for sharing your beautiful shower and for this great baby shower gift idea. I think that it is a brilliant gift! Guess what everybody that’s having a baby from now on is getting? I love the idea.
