Jump on! Join the ride
Just as I thought that I overdosed on DIY after my sister-in-law’s baby shower, I am back onto the DIY train. What can I say. I’m addicted, a DIY junkie. But this time I want to invite you guys to join the ride.
I always have a project that I am just dying to try out, like these World Cup rugby projects. But I don’t always seem to find the time. But as the D-day for moving into our new home is around the corner, and I have a couple of things I want to DIY for the new house, I need to get going.
My favourite bloggers Younghouselove is doing a DIY challenge over on their site; inviting people to share their DIY projects, inspire us all to DIY more. So now I invite you to dig out that one project that you have been wanting to do for a long time, if you do not have one, grab a couple of magazines and find that one thing that makes you drool. Browse around on Pinterest. You can do it!
Here are a couple of things I want to try…
Learn how to make origami birds.
via
Make my own home made porcelain.
via
Make new cushions for the new bedrooms.
via
Figure out how to make these gorgeous light bulb thingies.
via
And there are many more that I can think of….
Come share your project here or pop over to Younghouselove and share your magic with them. Let’s just ispire eachother to DIY more. I give you guys until next week Wednesday to complete your project. Email me by Wednesday at idonette@dvineliving.co.za your step-by-step DIY with pictures and I will post them on Thursday.
Happy DIYing.

OOOOOO – this sounds like a heap of fun. I particularly would love it if you did that light bulb thingy. It looks so fab, but never have the time or the inclination to try and figure it out myself. so, I look forward to the day you do and then we can benefit for it as well. And the birds – I would love to make those for my spare room and have it ready for my grandchildren when they run from the snow in Helsinki to join us at the end of the year. You have really managed to get my heart pumping the DIY way myself.
Rose I think you should join in and show us what you can do. I defnitely want to do that bulb thingy. Gonna figure it out ’cause I’ve been wanting to try it for a long time.
